Kozhimala Raja(Adi dravida King) from Kattapana,Eduki

Unlike the stores of the Fairy tales he is a real King, better when said, King of one of the only 2 kingdoms in India having their own king. Raman Raja Mannan the 17th King of the MANNAN COMMUNITY headquartered at Kovil Mala (also called Kozhimala) near Kattappana in Idukki district of Kerala, India. 

Mannan community

The Mannan community is the most prominent among the four different tribal communities of Periyar. They are the aboriginals of Periyar, and about 350 Mannan families are living in and around it. Most of Mannan people usually get into occupation of honey collecting, fishing, cattle breeding, and cultivating crops.
